APPLICATION OF ROSEMARY OIL (Rosmarinus officinalis)
Rosemary is a long known medicinal and culinary herb. The ancient Greek used it for brain stimulation: the students wore rosemary wreath to enhance memory and mental power. Even today, rosemary is known as one of the best remedies against mental fatigue, and forgetfulness.
Just rub the leaves of rosemary to feel its characteristic scent, and to make you alert and clear headed.
Due to its skin-freshening and circulation enhancing qualities, it is beneficial as an active agent in muscle relaxant, muscle pain-easing, or anti-rheumatism creams, and products against hair loss and dandruff.
Pour 5-8 drops in the water of the aroma lamp or diffuser! Mood boosting, creativity enhancing. It stimulates and helps clear thinking.
Refreshing aroma bath: Mix 10 drops or 2-5 drops for children in a tablespoon of honey or milk, and add it to the bath. The bath is refreshing. Recommended time of bath: 10-15 minutes.
Sauna: Add 4-6 drops to the bucket of water and pour it on the hot rocks!
Rubbing: Mix 1-3 drops of essential oil in 1 teaspoon of carrier oil (sunflower, olive, jojoba, or almond oil), then gently massage it in the skin. Refreshing massage: Mix 10 drops of essential oil in 5 dl sunflower oil, and massage it in the skin. Refreshing and cooling effect.
Hair care: Add 3 drops of oil to 15 ml shampoo (approximately how much is needed for one wash), then use it as usual. Let the foam sit on your head for 3 minutes, then rinse it with warm water. Rosemary strengthens the hair and the scalp.
