You can make a hearty oatmeal by adding milk, plant based milk or water. Spruce it up with a bit of fruit, honey, or jam, and add nuts for extra crunch. If you are into time-saving, just throw everything into a container in the evening, put it in the fridge, and enjoy your overnight oatmeal on the morning.
Oatmeal is also an excellent base for homemade granola, or granola bars!
