Instructions: Fill a 12 cm diametered pot with soil for 3/4, even it out and water. Put the disk on the soil, and cover with a thin layer of soil. Don't cover completely because the seeds are germinating from the light. Finally water again. It will germinate in 1-2 weeks at 15-20 °C.
Basil - green leaf (Ocimum basilicum):
Basil is a popular herb for sauces and salads. Annual, 25-30 cm height. Likes nutrient rich soil, and sunny place. Don't cut back the leaves too early, because it demages the plant, and cut them in sunny weather if possible, so the leaves can regenerate quickly. Basil is recommended for tomato dishes, italian pastas, meat and fish recipies.
Chives (Allium schoenoprasum):
Best-known herb, its dark green leaf can grow even 40 cm height. Ina sunny window you can harvest its fresh, vitamin rich offshoots even winter time. Add the small cut leaves to soups, sauces, salads and herb butters.
Parsley (Petroselinum crispum):
Flavouring soups, cold cuts, potatoes and sacues.
