Water flow restrictors are more and more widely used to sooth water supply problems. These are reducing not only the water consumption, but heat energy and carbon emissions too. In countries where it is a serious problem, sometimes they restrict the flow rate in whole stairways centrally.
On average shower heads 12-16 liter water can flow per minute maximum. These restrictors are reducing that rate to 4, 6, 8, and 10 liter/minute.
Installing is easy:
1, screw the shower hose off the tap,
2, screw on the restrictor on the tap,
3, screw back the shower hose.
The inside marking color of the restrictors:
4 liter/minute - yellow
6 liter/minute - green
8 liter/minute - white
10 liter/minute - blue
