We recommend laundry parfume for eco-firendly washing because soapnut or washing soda won't give scent to your clothes. The laundry parfume has an emulsifier in it, that will make the clothes smell amazing for a long time.

It is also great to scent your mopping up liquid, or sprayed onto clothes diluted with water, when you are ironing them.

The Zöldbolt laundry perfume is made in Hungary, and labeled by people who has a reduced capacity to work.

Recommended use: Mix 10-20 drops of laundry perfume with vinegar and pour it into the fabric softener compartment, to replace commercial fabric softeners.

What are the ingredients of commercial fabric softeners?

Fabric softeners use cationic surfactants that can remove the anionic surfactants of the laundry detergent. These synthetic surfactants leave a residue on the clothes that make them feel softer and reduce static electricity, but they can cause skin irritation, and they degrade slowly, while contaminating our environment and specifically the water supply. The brands are competing with the fragrances: which is the most delicious or stable. They use stabilizing agents so the scent lasts longer. But as they stay longer in the clothes, the risk of irritation increases. Also fabric softeners reduce the absorbency of clothes! So don't ever use them on sportswear, towels or cloth diapers!

What are we recommending?

The eco-friendly solution to remove excess detergent from the clothes is vinegar! It is completely harmless for the environment, it's easily biodegradable and made with biological fermentation. Vinegar also descales the washing machine, and it boosts the colors of texitles! Scale can stick on the fibers of clothes that makes the colors greyish and the fabric hard. Vinegar can solve all these problems, just replace fabric softeners with it! Don't worry about the smell of vinegar: it will go away soon after the washing. But if you really can't stand vinegar, there is another solution: citric acid! Replace the vinegar with 1-2 tablespoons of citric acid, it will have the same effect!

If you want a lovely smell for your clothes, you can add essential oils, or laundry perfume for a more stable scent. You will only need a few drops from these! As they are concentrated, they have a smaller volume and weight, so they need less packaging and energy for transportation. Some essential oils, like tea tree or lavender have antimicrobal effects as well! But they won't last for a long time, because the oils in them evaporate quickly. For a long lasting scent, we recommend laundry parfume. The laundry parfume make your clothes smell wonderful with natural essential oils and nature-identical perfume. These are made water soluble with a plant based emulsifier, which makes them more stable.
