I was raised in a family of farmers in Bihar county. Altough I studied economics in Budapest for years, I finally went back to my roots, and in 2012 I started planting fruit trees, and make jams.
The ingredients of the products come from my 2 ha land, that we cultivate with crop rotation and a dozen of fruit trees. I am planning on adding 4 ha fruit trees, to make a surplus for the famous Hungarian spirit called "pálinka".
I strive to produce chemical-free, so I only grow species that are suitable for farming without pesticides and herbicides in this area. I also have similar principles in food production: I focus on preserving the natural flavours of the ingredients. When it is necessary, I use honey, raisins and sometimes sugar to sweeten the foods, and preserve with heat. I only use additives that can be found in nature: citric acid, sorbic acid and citrus pectine.
