How does it work?

As picture shows:

A: combinated input, in this case the preheated water can be attached to the cold water of the shower and the cold water input of the boiler. 

B: the preheated water can be attached to the cold water tap of the shower.

C: the preheated water can only be used in the boiler's cold water input.

Where can you build in the heat recovery drain?

As seen above, it can be built in to showers, where below there is no shower plate, but the platform is configured so it will flow into the drain.

You have to build in the energy recovery, so:

1, the machine is easily accessible, can be removed and put back,
2, the non return valve and the closing fitting is easily accessible.

The machine can be used up to 7-9liter/minute flow rate.

The energy recovery system uses the heat of the showering water, which is possible because it flows the same time like the heating. If you pair energy recovery system with solar collectors, you will need less collectors for the same amount of energy. 

Any plumber can build in the machine following the detailed instruction manual.
