The taste of broccoli sprouts is slightly spicy, resembles fresh cabbage. You can use it in several foods, raw or cooked. Great addition to any muesli, yoghurt, cottage cheese, or salad mix.
It has a high content of calcium and a chemical called sulforaphane, which destroys Heliobacter lylori, the cause of ulcer and gastric tumor.
Growing: all year around.
For a plate of sprouts you will need 1-2 tablespoons.
Temperature needed for spouting: cc. 20°C, water daily.
Before sprouting it is recommended to soak the seeds for 4-8 hours.
Sprouting time: 3-7 days.
