Alfalfa sprouts are great on buttered bread, salads, and soups. Sprouts are delicious, tender vegetables.
Contains lots of vitamins (A, B1, B2, C, D, E, H, K, sulfur), minerals (calcium, phosphorus, iron, magnesium, potassium, zinc, sodium, manganase, boron). The fibers in it are helping the digestive system. High in vegetable hormones, so it helps women's health. The saponine in it has a degreasing effect.
Growing: all year around.
For a plate of sprouts you will need 1 tablespoons.
Temperature needed for sprouting: cc. 20°C, water twice a day.
Before sprouting it is recommended to soak the seeds for 3-8 hours.
Sprouting time: 7 days.
