Rédei herb seed disk - chive

Instructions: Fill a 12 cm diametered pot with soil for 3/4, even it out and water. Put the disk on the soil, and cover with a thin layer of soil. Don't cover completely because the seeds are germinating from the light. Finally water again. It will germinate in 1-2 weeks at  15-20 °C.

Chives (Allium schoenoprasum):

Best-known herb, its dark green leaf can grow even 40 cm height. Ina  sunny window you can harvest its fresh, vitamin rich offshoots even winter time. Add the small cut leaves to soups, sauces, salads and herb butters.
