Cibibee Beeswax Food Wrap

WHY USE THE CIBIBEE BEESWAX FOOD WRAP?

Beeswax is an all-natural material, that bees produce while building honeycomb. This wax is waterproof, flexible and antibacterial, so it is suitable for storing food. For even better stability, beeswax is combined with also antibacterial jojoba oil and natural pine resin.

Cibibee only uses organic textile certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). The certification proves that the product is produced in 100% certified organic farming. This makes it sure that it won't harm your health in any way.

HOW TO USE IT?

You can wrap many kinds of foods in the Cibibee wrap, or cover the dishes with it. There are several ways to fold it, depending on the shape and size of the food. Warm the material with your hands, and simply smooth it on the food. By warming it with your hands, the wrap becomes a little sticky, which secures that package. After that it will hold its shape until unpackaging.

Keep cheese, sausage or other items fresh in it!

Or cover dishes in the fridge 

Don't use the wraps in hot weather, or in the car, when it gets hot on the sun.

HOW TO CLEAN IT?

Simply wipe it down with a damp cloth or rinse it under the tap. The temperature of the water shouldn't be above room temperature! Never put it in the washing machine, because the wax can melt.

You can use a wrap for approximately a year, depending on the frequency of use, and your care. This makes it economical too.​

When your wrap is no longer usable, simply compost it, as it only contains natural, biodegradable materials. 

HOW NOT TO USE IT?

The Cibibee Beeswax Foodwraps cannot be washed in in a washing machine,  dishwasher, or hot water, ironed, or used on high heat because the warm temperature can make the beeswax melt.
It is not suitable for storing raw meat, fish, or hot meals. Keep away from alcohol.
