Durum wheat flour is recommended for making pasta, pancakes and pizza dough.
Durum wheat contains beta carotene, which means that the pasta you make from will have a beautiful yellow color even without adding eggs. This is a fine yellowish flour, that can also contain low levels of fine husk particles.

Milk and egg-free pancake recipie:
250 g durum flour, 1 dl oil, sparkling water
Mix the ingredients without creating lumps. Add enough water, so the batter won't be to thick or thin. Non-stick pan won't need coating, but if you use another kind, slightly oil it. Bake the pancakes as usual, and eat it with your favourite toppings.
