"The most popular and known hydrolat is rosewater. It has the gentle scent of Damascus Rose and it is suitable for every kind of skin care. I have the most experience with Turkish Rose, since I learnd that in Turkey they treat children with fever and wash ill people with this hydrolat.
The mild scent of Rose Hydrolat suits well with birth and gynecology. I recommend future fathers to freshen up their wife during labour pains with this hydrolat, which is a nice support for the woman in labour and it tunes the future father on the events.
This hydrolat is well-tried for sore baby bottoms, sore nipples of breastfeeding women, vaginal and penis infections, eczema, acne during puberty, and after shaving. It is great for tired eyes to put a cotton ball dampend with the hydrolat on them, and it can even sooth pink eyes (Conjunctivitis).
The pleasant healing smell of rosewater is liked by man too, and it is great as a lotion on wounds. If you use it as an after-shave, add a few drops of cedar oil."
We recommend to apply it under Stadelmann's Labdanum Cream to sooth eczema.
